Camping and Bird Watching at Cibola National Wildlife Refuge

In this video, I give you a look at our boondocking spot in the Cibola BLM and the sights and sounds from our tour of the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge. It was super convenient to camp right across the street from the Cibola Refuge headquarters and visitor center. Also, there was a large flock of snow geese that would routinely take flight, amazing to witness. Other wildlife we saw: Mule Deer, Burros, Canada Geese, Bobcat, Burrowing Owls, SandHill Cranes, Egrets, Blue Herons, assorted ducks, Coots, songbirds, etc. There were several nature trails to explore and an auto route plus many areas to explore along the levees of the Colorado River. The Cibola NWR was free to visit, and the camping on the BLM was free. Can't beat that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Blythe was only a 20-minute drive away for supplies. The highlight was definitely the flights of the snow geese!
