Glenn Wright - ASHS HortLegend

Dr. Glenn Wright has been a member of ASHS since the mid-1980s. As a child he became enchanted with gardening books at the local library. This early fascination and curiosity only grew as Glenn himself grew up. As soon as he finished high school, he knew he wanted to pursue horticulture as a career and never looked back. He has worked with citrus crops his entire career and greatly enjoys helping farmers and homeowners solve their problems. For Glenn, attending ASHS conferences gives him the chance to attend talks that have nothing to do with what he works on and from these he always gets ideas to use back at the office. His advice is to be open to new ideas and expose yourself to as much as you can, including international experiences when possible.
