UPDATE: Washed these on gentle with cold water and not in a mesh bag, which goes against the care instructions of dry clean only, and they shrunk a good inch in length. I laid them flat to dry like all my other wool clothes. This was actually good for me because they were about an inch too long. The waist still fits, probably more nylon there. Just be advised if you decide to wash rather than dry clean them, or if they're too long when you buy them. I'll probably wash again, but in a bag next time. The only other garment I've had do this is wool watch caps. These are the Big Bill (out of Canada) merino wool (80%) cargo pants to go along with the jacket. They have been on backorder, so just got them in recently. Very good quality construction, just like the jacket, true to size. Reasonably soft on the skin. Recommended.
