6-day solo in the Dolomites in October

I did this trip in October 2025 as the last hike in a series of three that autumn. After Tour de Monte Rosa with an elevation gain of 1,200 m each day, Alta Via 2 looked like an easy walk but still was epic in terms of landscapes. And actually this was a quintessential trip for me in terms of what having this channel is about: taking a camera with me in the mountains. Because the first time I did exactly this route was October 2023, with two friends, same trail, same time of year. I posted a video about it (   • Silent hiking in the Dolomites in October  ) and that's where this whole silent hiking journey started. But I never was happy with that video. It wasn't what I had imagined. So two years later I came back and did it again. Back in 2023 I was only planning the trip and a great source of inspiration I found in Harmin Hoek's film. It really helped me prepare for my first mountain hike and surely inspired me to start filming. In this film you will obviously notice some shots that are a reference to his work.
