Punching Louvers into a Scratch Built Ford Model T Trunk Lid

We're finally back to working on the T! When I originally picked up the body it didn't come with a trunk lid. It turns out the a T deck lid is NOT reproduced. Really wasn't the end of the world since I wanted to louver the hell out of it anyways. So a lid had to be made from scratch. We started off by cutting the rough size and shape out of sheet metal. We folded the edges for some strength then marked it all out for louvers. Each louver was hand punched one at a time. Very time consuming but even more satisfying once it was done. Then a little work on the stretcher/shrinker and the truck lid was rough fit on the car. Not bad for a nights work.
