◦ Miruna Mogosanu, Romania Online GlogauAIR resident from October, 2024 to December, 2024 ◦ Miruna creates paintings as portals to parallel universes, blending dreams, stories, and psychology. Influenced by the I Ching and Tarot, her work invites reflection, offering an escape from daily life and a journey to the authentic self. Each piece begins with intent but evolves its own narrative. Her GlogauAIR residency project will be a series of paintings inspired by the Tarot de Marseille, as explained by Alejandro Jodorowsky, viewing the cards as a psychological journey and a mirror of the soul’s struggles toward redemption. The project will be centered on the Major Arcana’s first and last cards, The Fool and The World—symbols of eternal beginnings and infinite endings. Each painting will represent a standalone universe, forming part of a hero’s journey filled with guardians, adventures, and choices.
