A forgotten masterpiece from the Wii Game Series. In the past few days I have been finishing up an arrangement of an assortment of music from the Wii Game for a full orchestra when I remembered this gem of a tune from the series. While I was writing it for orchestra, I was constantly thinking about how great this would be as a simple jazz standard. So I quickly got to work and put the sheet music together for this arrangement. This was also a fun project because it is the first time that I have ever recorded everything myself, no midi to help me this time. I am not a pianist or a percussionist, but the parts were simple enough that I think I handled them pretty well! It was also fun because I have not recorded anything jazzy in a while and I felt it was time.
