I started this project in September 2024. Inspired by other clients and creatives, I wanted to do something different. Something, I personally haven't seen in the space. So I reached out to the amazing team Node Labs Inc and threw out this idea. What's the possibility of doing a Tissue Culture timelapse? Well, little did I know that growing for TC is not very camera-friendly and is pretty sensitive to environmental elements (something I'm discovering with a lot of my timelapses). So, we had to create a custom solution that would be a little more pleasing to the eyes. We spent 3 months of trial and error, with different jars, different environments, and different SOPs. Finally, on month 4 we started seeing consistent success. While this is a 'shorter' video, this was the culmination of 5 months of work. The actual timelapse in this clip was shot a little over 3 weeks. Thanks to the wizard team over Node Labs Inc for working with me to troubleshoot at every step and for entertaining my crazy ideas.
