This trip felt different. We’re heading back to our little cottage in Ireland — but this time it’s one step closer to the big move. And that makes the goodbyes so much harder. Leaving Malou and Tiger never gets easier, and saying goodbye before we set off was emotional. But with the van packed and the ferry booked, we hit the road — chasing a sunrise across the Irish Sea and reminding ourselves why we’re doing this in the first place. Of course… it wouldn’t be one of our trips without a bit of drama. A very tight turn into our track and a nasty hump in the middle nearly stopped us from getting home altogether!
