Akahoshi Intra-operative Axis Marker with CCC Guide: AE-2933 This intraoperative axis marker was designed to mark the final axis of toric IOL implantation under the surgical microscope. Bases on the reference marks at 0 and 180 degree positions, final axis will be clearly marked on the cornea by one action. Contrary to the large conventional ring gauge which was placed on the corneal limbus, the size of this instrument is less than the diameter of the cornea. Accordingly marking in a deep set eye or narrow lids patient can be attained quite easily and accurately. The ring shaped CCC marker in the center will indicate the ideal size of the capsulorhexis which is also important for the successful result in the toric surgery.
