In this video, I will be breaking down the high fashion and use of neuroaesthetics in The Neon Demon, a psychological horror film directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. Rather than being an extension of each character the fashion in this in a horror film adds a degree of darkness even in broad daylight and lighter scenes that creates an unseen heaviness that is very complex, but obviously felt by all characters.
