'Talk of the Town': Johnny Saunders’ feed-haul 2000 International 9900i Eagle, Wilson hopper

Johnny Saunders, owner of Saunders Trucking out of Franklin, Virginia, brought his 2000 International 9900i Eagle, nicknamed "Talk of the Town," to the 2025 Large Cars and Guitars truck show. Read more about the rig in Overdrive: https://overdriveonline.com/15771413 The working truck hauls animal feed and grain in a 2017 Wilson hopper-bottom trailer, which Saunders had painted to match the tractor’s deep green finish. Powered by a recently rebuilt Cummins N14, upgraded turbo, and custom fuel system, the 9900i Eagle "runs good, drives good" and "gets the job done," according to Saunders. Saunders gave the truck a new stance by dropping the front end, stretching the frame, adding a new visor, and installing Hogebuilt quarter fenders to both the truck and trailer. To complement the combo's deep green look, Saunders added green underglow lighting. The name "Talk of the Town" came naturally, Saunders said, after other drivers started complimenting the build and even trying to give their own Internationals the same look.
