All of Bowser Jr.'s voice clips from Mario Party 9, provided by Caety Sagoian (as well as one voice clip of Dolores Rogers), partially reused from such games as Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Super Mario Galaxy 2, and reused again in Island Tour, Mario Party 10, Star Rush, The Top 100, Super Mario Party, and Superstars. After making his Mario Party debut in DS, Junior reprises his role as a recurring enemy of the playable characters in this game, hosting the Boss Minigames and serving as a miniboss himself. Junior's boss minigame, Bowser Jr. Breakdown, is almost entirely luck-based even compared to the other boss minigames, as it mainly consists of hitting a Dice Block in a random order and then attacking him. Beyond that, Junior also appears in several minigames where the goal is to defeat or capture him, which would also be featured (albeit in severely reduced form) in 10 as well. Finally, unused data in the game's files suggests that Junior was meant to either be playable or appear as a rival in Party/Story Mode, only to be scrapped. Mario Party 9 is copyright Nintendo.
