Glenn Morrison & Brian Cid have been longtime friends and partners in crime in various music projects. Whether it’s writing platinum selling records for some of the biggest pop artists in the world to writing killer underground house records which find its way into the most rambunctious parties worldwide, it’s safe to say that they are natural borne musicians through and through. The desire to create something from nothing is a true art in itself and with their many years of experience forms a dynamic and deadly duo that is a force to be reckoned with on the dance floor. Innervisions is the A side and it typifies the floaty atmospheric nature of the release. Crunchy industrial drums juxtapose a warm and rich bassline tone, and a very smooth entry into the breakdown leaves us with a half time broken beat melodic wash to spice up the midsection. ‘Nu’ is a much more mellow affair, with splashes of melody thrown over a pretty four chord arpeggiated main base. It’s a very heady record and something perfectly suited to a late night after-hours session or pre partying to the calm before the storm. This is a very strong release which will forecast 2015 in a positive light for both Glenn & Brian in the house world.
