🎸 In this video, we test the MOSKY SOL918 v4.0 with a bass guitar setup, exploring every function of this compact multi-effect pedal: ✅ Part #1 (0:25 min) Testing Effects (Distortion, Overdrive, Delay, Reverb) ✅ Part #2 (2:30 min) DIP Switches: Testing ✅ Part #3 (6:16 min) DIP Switches: OD Testing ✅ Part #4 (9:57 min) DIP Switches: DS Wave Analysis ✅ Part #5 (10:58 min) DIP Switches: OD Wave Analysis ✅ Part #6 (12:49 min) Suggested Settings 🎧 Highlights: The Distortion is the strongest feature: punchy, rich and full of definition. Inspired by the legendary Suhr Riot, the high-gain distortion delivers the punch and touch sensitivity of a 100-watt tube amp. It’s perfect for turning a clean amp into a wall of rock-ready tones—ideal for tight riffs, solos, and aggressive rhythm work. The Overdrive works best with light gain and clean boost. Based on the iconic Analogman King of Tone, this circuit provides a transparent overdrive with expanded gain range. The DRIVE knob offers more saturation at the top end compared to the original KOT, making it suitable both as a boost and as a stand-alone overdrive. DIP switch 1 adds noticeable compression. DIP switch 2 increases compression even further. With both switches OFF, the tone becomes more open and natural. Modeled on the Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay, the delay section offers a natural-sounding blend of digital and analog characteristics. With simple controls, Delay Time, Repeat, and Level, this section is tailored for ambient echoes reminiscent of vintage tape delays. By the way the Delay is tricky for bass, better with low settings for ambient use (can act like overdrive at high levels). The Reverb is just superb, lush and vintage-like, based on Malekko Omicron Spring Reverb it sounds familiar to some classic BOSS units or Fender amp. The circuit features a rich spring-like sound with Dwell and Mix controls. It adds spatial dimension without overpowering your dry tone. Internal controls and frequency analysis help unlock full tone shaping potential. 📌 Recommended for creative use with amp sims or external EQ when playing bass. #MoskySOL918 #BassTest #Overdrive #Distortion #ToneShaping #GuitarPedals #BassEffects #Multieffect #PedalDemo #MOSKY
