This pond rehab project turned into one of the nastiest jobs I’ve ever tackled. After draining the water, I uncovered nearly 5 feet of thick black pond mud. What looked like a simple clean-out quickly turned into a nightmare. The CAT D7 dozer got buried in the muck and had to be dug out.
