And while a large cash reserve might allow you to “throw money at the problem”, it does not address the management culture required to proactively manage through uncertain economic environments. A culture of strategic financial planning increases an organization’s ability to thrive under difficult and unforeseen environments. As Dwight Eisenhower said about D-Day - “Planning is everything, the plan is nothing”. This workshop will identify five components of strategic financial planning and discuss how they may be used to help build a culture able to proactively manage and adapt to severe financial shocks.
