Pocket Monsters Pikachu Stadium VS Mode

This game has been on my backburner for a while now. It's a Taiwanese unofficial Pokemon game. I found my copy back in 2017, but never recorded much footage of it. That's mostly because the charge meter in this game is super fast and I never got the hang of reacting to it. It's also asymmetrical, so if you slightly overshoot you get nothing. Also, for some reason I can't get it to boot in color when I'm not using a real GBA. I don't think I'll ever record a full playthrough of this (there's a mostly finished playthrough of it on SRC's channel if you are curious), but I figured I'd show off the VS mode. I fought against a computer, but this game does have multiplayer VS as well. It isn't implemented gracefully though, you essentially have to pass around the Gameboy to play it. Thankfully all the Pokemon are available from the start, and its got a decent selection of them. More than any other unofficial Taiwanese Pokemon game for the Gameboy does this one feel like a fever dream Pokemon game to me. With just a couple of small changes I think I'd really enjoy this, but as is it's not a great experience. Also, Good Life could've picked a better soundtrack to steal. (Oh and before anyone asks, no this game isn't dumped. It has super tough copy protection so nobody knows how to get it to work in emulators)
