Acrylic Pour Painting Fluid Art Abstract Art RainyDay RingPour Folk Art Treasure Gold Fire Opal Hello Friends! We are hunkered down at home, and it's pouring rain! Yesterday I was talking to some lovely people in the Community tab on YouTube, and a very nice lady suggested a rainbow pour.. I started to gather my colors and really wanted to try out the new Folk Art Treasure Gold in Fire Opal. My Colors are: Golden's Iridescent Pearl Quinacridone Violet Prussian Blue Cobalt Violet Hue DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics 24K Gold Folk Art - Treasure Gold Fire Opal Pouring Medium Golden's Gloss Medium Paint + a bit of Water Floetrol My 'rainbow' is a bit off lol.. The first time I tried out the Fire Opal it looked very pink.. more like an orange with a pink shift to it.. I think I mixed it with more paint this time because it doesn't look pink at all lol.. so my colors are a bit weird.. they were picked when I thought the Fire Opal was going to be pink.. I layer a small 5 oz Dixie cup, and pour a ring pour on a 14x14 canvas.. but we need just a little more paint.. so I layer the cup again and pour it into the center.. very pretty ring pour! I tilt to cover the canvas.. it looks cool. There are a few Fire Opal cells popping up in the beautiful Prussian Blue center.. very cool stuff! You can hear the pouring rain outside, so it's not going to dry by tomorrow lol.. im going to try to put out more videos this week, so I will probably show you all the pours at the end of the week. Hopefully the sun will come out soon and everything will dry beautifully! Please take care of yourselves and each other.. if we use common sense and have some patience we will get thru this.
