I try and eat local meat, im lucky where i live im surrounded by farm land. Ive worked on farms and ive also shot and prepared my own meat, mostly pigeon and rabbit. I won't shoot for fun, only virmin' control and for food. I dont agree with factory farming but the sad fact is we dont have the land for people to grow/rear their own and im not sure what the answer to factory farming is. I think you would be better looking at fair treatment of animals and showing people where the burgers the eat come from. I have friends that cant be near me gutting animals but are very happy to eat it and not think about how it got on its plate Its a complicated situation and i dont think there is a right or wrong answer to eating meat but we deffo dont do it in a way thats 'good' for the animals life pre the killing of it for food.
