Day 94: How to get your heels to touch the ground in Downward Dog. Welcome to Day 94! And welcome to the Wild Yoga Tribe Youtube channel. My name is Lily Allen-Duenas and I am enormously grateful that you're here. Today we are going to talk about how to get your heels to touch the ground in Downward Dog. Downward dog, also called Adho Mukha Svanasana, is one of the most classic yoga poses out there. It's likely that you will encounter this yoga pose in every single yoga class you take! While some yogis and yoga students may make this asana look easy, it can be really challenging for students to actually get their heels to touch the ground! If you're struggling with getting your heels to touch the ground, you're not alone! I wanted to create this video to cover some tips and tricks for how to get your heels to touch the ground in Adho Mukha Svanasana, downward dog. So follow along this brief video, and go through these little exercises every day and you'll be shocked at your progress as the days roll by!
