William Smith told ITV News that he was handing himself back in after being accidentally released on Monday, 3 November. Details of Smith's mistaken release emerged on Wednesday. He had been sentenced to 45 months in prison for multiple fraud offences at Croydon Crown Court on Monday, 3 November, Surrey Police said.
