First Impressions of London Bridge

https://linktr.ee/muradalziq I do apologize for the wind noise. I did my best to tune it out.... But in this video, I had just arrived at the hostel, set my bags down, and proceeded to go for a walk. Sometimes when I get to a new place, I walk around to feel out of the street I am staying on. I was staying in the center of London (within a walk of the bridge). Reflecting on this moment, I was unsettled and curious about what the rest of the day would bring. I was mainly concerned with meeting people to enjoy time with. After this walk, I remember going to the common rooftop area of our hostel and meeting a guy from Argentina and two girls from Australia. Within the hour, other people came out to the rooftop, and I met over 20 people in an hour. Most of these people had crazy stories about where they had traveled or why they were so far from home. Sitting on a picnic table with like-minded people from around this earth. Put a type of happiness in my heart that I had never felt before. At that moment, I knew the next couple of days would not be spent alone....... staring at a piece of hardware from my hometown. I was moved and inspired by their stories, and I quickly realized some magical moments behind traveling. I made friends from across the globe, with whom I still keep in contact today. I find it fascinating to see the differences in cultures and perceptions of each other. Being from California seemed to get people quite excited, and for the longest time, I was confused. Now that I am back at my home base in Silicon Valley, I have been analyzing my experiences from this past summer. The knowledge that was exchanged has broadened my mind and helped me with my studies at San Jose State University. Again thank you all for watching; you all are my motivation.
