This project would see the city get its first orbital railway - that would link up all of its existing railways through the city's suburbs. The line is currently called the Avondale and Southdown line and has technically been in planning (although as a freight railway) since the 1940s. In this video I'm going to be looking at the plans for this train line, where exactly it will go, and what impact it might eventually have on Auckland's public transport network!
