Having seen so many epic skate spots in video footage of Barcelona, I set out to meticulously study where the best spots were before my first trip there. And on that trip I only discovered even more spots, and made a return visit the following year to continue my mission. I decided that it could be helpful to share my research and real life experience to help others plan their trips and make sure they get the most out of their time in this paradise of a city for skateboarding, surfskating, and any other extreme sport that involves interacting with unique terrain. You would need to spend an entire year in Barcelona to be able to session all of the spots in the City, it is almost overwhelming. But if I had to limit it to 10 spots to prioritize based on my research and experience, then here is what I would recommend based on my perspective, as well as how to get to them using the Barcelona Metro system: 1:28 - Forum - Brick Seawall and other amazing spots 4:13 - Skatepark Favencia - Bowls, transition, and street obstacles 5:19 - Nou Barris Banks - Yellow brick banks and innumerable other banks 6:57 - Barceloneta Street Spots - Curbs, banks, ledges, hill bombs, and more 9:05 - Skatepark La Marina - A skatepark for all skill levels and disciplines 10:16 - Sants - A playground for creative street skating 13:04 - Skatepark Mar Bella - Transition skater paradise 13:44 - Corts Downhill Banks - Gnarly street spot 15:23 - Besos Olas - Unique wave bank feature and nearby street spots
