Trains at Glasgow Queen Street, E2GL - 20/8/18

Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Glasgow Queen Street located on the Edinburgh to Glasgow Line and starting point of the West Highland Line, Glasgow to Aberdeen and Highland Main Lines where services are seen by Scotrail only. Glasgow Queen Street was quite a magnificent station for my first time filming here, the station had a lot of diesel traction around but the electric trains really do stand out at this station with a frequency of every 15 minutes to Edinburgh Waverley. The diesel traction was fantastic and was the first of my filming sessions to contain 170s and 158s as well as the Class 365s. The architecture proved to be great and as you enter the station, it's busy and you can usually hear the rumbling of a 170 somewhere. The entrance to this station is also quite hidden currently due to improvement works. A fantastic station and one I'd recommend.
