A B1 in the Midlands! 61306 'Mayflower' - Crew Training Run - 10/01/2023

Following word that LSL's newly acquired LNER B1 No.61306 'Mayflower' would be working a series of crew training runs over the week of the 10th-13th January. With this in mind I decided to venture out to capture the loco in action, this would also be my first video of 2023. In this short video we capture the B1 at three locations, the first being Shrewsbury where she is seen rolling into Platform 4. After a brief stop the train reserves into Coton Hill TC with 37688 'Great Rock's' doing the honours. Our next shot sees us at Wellington as the B1 can be heard powering on approach shutting off allowing her to coast through the middle road. Our final shot at Stafford sees the loco powering through the platform in fine fettle, running a couple of minutes early. Filmed on a Panasonic VXF990 with a Takstar SGC-598 Microphone.
