Testing the Sinden Lightgun’s Capacitor: How Long Until It’s Safe?

How long does the Sinden Lightgun’s capacitor take to discharge? I put it to the test. In this video I measure the recoil capacitor from full (20V) down to near zero to find out when it’s safe to open the gun. You’ll see the discharge rate, why it slows over time, and the point where it becomes harmless to touch. Your results may vary — the capacitor in your Sinden may discharge at a slightly different rate. If you can’t measure the voltage yourself, always err on the side of caution and allow extra time.
