Brian's Caucasian odyssey continues in the former Soviet republic of Georgia, famed for its mystical legends, diverse geography and being the birthplace of wine, toasting and the European race. Brian's journey takes him through towering mountains, magnetic beaches and spectacular underground caverns, to the birthplace of infamous leaders and some of Christianity's holiest relics. After leaving Uplistsikhe, Brian arrives in the historic city of Gori. After stopping by the city's cathedral and fort, Brian visits the birthplace of Joseph Stalin and learns about the infamous dictator's lesser-known personal life, at the Stalin Museum. From there, he continues to the holy city of Mtskheta, once dubbed the second holiest city in Christianity. Here he tours the sacred Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, which claims to house a robe that once belonged to Christ, and a piece of the crucifixion cross. His Caucasian odyssey concludes at the Jvari monastery.
