Connected Memory

A video installation by JJ Jamieson and Liz Musser Part 1 - Reflect A cross section of the Shetland community listened to audio recordings made during the Covid Lockdown. Participants were then asked to reflect upon their experiences of the Pandemic. Part 2 - Connect Even when we couldn't meet in the same physical space, we found a way to connect through our screens. Part 1 illustrates our sense of isolation and being alone with our thoughts and memories. Part 2 shows connection through the comments as well as being on-screen simultaneously mimicking the video conferencing which became our covid way to connect. Huge thanks to the participants - Andy Anderson, Juan Brown, Jamie Dalziel, Janice Leask, Neil Pearson, Karen Rennie and Ella Robertson.
