This archaeological site, standing amidst the rugged Highland terrain, provides a fascinating glimpse into the lives of Scotland's early inhabitants. Continuing our drive, we arrive at the Castle of Old Wick. Perched dramatically on a cliff edge, this medieval stronghold offers panoramic views of the coastline. Finally, we end the firstday of our journey in the charming town of Thurso.
