Statues modeled after characters from the manga "Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Koen Mae Hashutsujo" (abbreviated as "Kochikame") have been installed around Kameari Station. Since the establishment of the first statue, "Ryotsu Kankichi Statue," on February 11, 2006, a total of 15 statues, large and small, have been installed by August 9, 2016, all manufactured by Takenaka Copperware (formerly Takenaka Seisakusho) in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. The "Kochikame Museum" will open on Saturday, March 22. No.1 Ryo-san Kankichi Statue: This is a bronze statue of Ryo-san Kankichi, the main character of "KochiKame." His distinctive expression and pose are highlights. No.2 Rose and Reiko Statue: A bronze statue that recreates Reiko holding a rose. Its elegant appearance is noteworthy. No.3 Double Peace Ryo-san Statue: A bronze statue modeled after Ryo-san Kankichi making a peace sign with both hands. It exudes a cheerful and humorous atmosphere. No.4 Take a Break Ryo-san Statue: A bronze statue depicting Ryo-san Kankichi on break, installed on a bench around the station. It serves as a resting place for locals and tourists. No.5 Salute Ryo-san Statue: A bronze statue expressing Ryo-san Kankichi saluting as a police officer. You can feel his pride in his work. No.6 Ryo-san Festival Costume Statue: A statue of Ryo-san Kankichi in festival attire. His energetic and lively appearance is impressive. No.7 Welcome to Kameari Ryo-san Statue: A bronze statue installed to welcome tourists, characterized by Ryo-san Kankichi's smile. No.8 Samba Ryo-san Statue: A bronze statue of Ryo-san Kankichi dressed in samba attire holding maracas. An incident occurred in 2010 where his left arm was broken. No.9 Young Ryo-san Statue: A bronze statue portraying Ryo-san Kankichi as a boy, with an appealing innocence. No.10 Honda Statue: A bronze statue of Hayato Honda depicted riding his distinctive motorcycle. No.11 Wahaha Ryo-san Statue: A bronze statue modeled after Ryo-san Kankichi laughing heartily. It symbolizes a bright personality. No.12 Young Man, Aim for That Star! Ryo-san Statue: A bronze statue of Ryo-san Kankichi in a pose looking towards the future, containing a powerful message. No.13 Nakagawa Statue: A bronze statue of Keiichi Nakagawa, noted for his stylish appearance. No.14 Reiko Statue: A bronze statue of Reiko Akimoto, highlighting her charming figure. It has currently been relocated to the Ito-Yokado (Lilio Building) at the south exit of Kameari Station. No.15 Welcome to the KochiKame Town! Ryo-san, Nakagawa, and Reiko Await! Statue: A statue featuring Ryo-san Kankichi, Keiichi Nakagawa, and Reiko Akimoto, installed to welcome visitors. Relocation information for statues: The "Reiko Statue" (No.14) has now been moved to the Ito-Yokado (Lilio Building) at the south exit of Kameari Station, where the "Rose and Reiko Statue" (No.2) that was previously there has been reinstalled.
