Naviate Site & Landscaping 2021 Feature: SOSI Import Start a new project using the Naviate Site & Landscaping Template. Input data in this example is ordered at “Norkart.” This is how the delivery looks like, and here you will find the SOSI data. We start a new project based on the Naviate Site & Landscaping Template. First you need to match the coordinates selected in you input data for inserting the SOSI data at the origin point in Revit. This method is explained in the first Legend View. Go to “Project Information” and find the Parameter CQ Origo. Enter the GEO-referenced coordinates in here. You will now force the SOSI Import to use these coordinates when importing the data. Select buildings, Areas, the contour lines and Roads. Select all and click “Import”. Select all and “Import”. Here you can see the coordinates coming in. Again, select all and “Import”. Choose “Create Toposurface” for this file. Select all and “Import”. Now you wait for the software to create the Toposurface. Select all and “import”. Now that everything is imported, you can activate “Section Box” in a 3D-View and “Show Section Box” in the active Plan View. Adjust the Section Box to show the Section profile of the Toposurface in 3D-View. Open the 3D-View to see the result and turn off visibility of the Selction Box. You are now ready to Import the buildings by using the Sketshup-model of the existing buildings. Click “Insert Import CAD”, find the correct folder “3D-Modell, Sketchup and Buildings” and the Sketchup file type and default setting for units and Positioning. To get the buildings as separate objects, select the “Sketchup Import” and do one “Partial Explode, “and then one “Partial Explode” more. Now the buildings can be hidden individually.
