For those who don't know what this book is, the "Missale Romanum" (to give it its proper name) is a much loved aid to Catholic worship for men and women in the pew, especially the 1962 Roman Missal for the Latin Mass which contains translations of the prayers and readings. These older versions were often once owned by parents, grandparents, or a beloved priest who's since died and left it to the owner, so are well cherished, hence the desire for them to be in a worthy condition.
