Hiking Tenerife: the descent from Pico del Teide cable car over Pico Viejo (3135 m) to the parador

We went by cable car to the mountain station of El Teide and started the descent through Pico Viejo to Parador Nacional de las Cañadas, and back to the Valley station of El Teide. Pico Viejo is the second highest peak/volcano on the island with a height of 3.135 m above sea level. Its huge crater is approximately 800 m in diameter and 250 m deep. On the top you will be rewarded with stunning views of El Teide , Pico Viejo and the lava fields below! It was a stunning and remarkable Hike...
