This video presents the Top 200 songs of the year 1991, ranked by peak, not points. Please note that to be eligible for this chart, the song did not necessarily have to be released or charting in 1991, but reach its peak position that year. For instance, "Black or White" by Michael Jackson spent three weeks at #1 in 1992, but its peak date was in late 1991, so it is included only in this year's countdown. Ties between songs were broken by considering these criteria, in order: weeks in the Top 10, weeks in the Top 40, and weeks on the entire Hot 100 Singles chart. However, the video only shows total weeks on the Hot 100, as that would have been too much information in such short time each song has. This channel does not own the songs and the video has been created for research/information purposes.
