HOTEL REVIEW: Axel Hotel (Berlin, Germany) First of all: This is not a sponsored post. I paid all by myself:) What I liked about the Hotel: The location is quite central to the main bars and clubs. Location: Very good. You are in the middle of "West-Berlin". Very close to the Kurfürstendamm - the main shopping street of Berlin. But Berlin is big. To get to the Berghain you still need 30 minutes. But the metro is just a few minutes walk. Cleaning: Good. Staff: Nothing to complain. Check-in and Check-out fast and uncomplicated. They take care of your lugguage, if your flight leaves later. Room: I had a room with a whirl-pool, which did not really work as expected. It was an upgrade from just having a shower. The view was towards the street. Wifi / TV: Available. Did not check the TV. Food / Bar: Did not see a bar and had no breakfast. Gym/Spa: Gym is availble on the top floor also a two sauna and a jacuzzi, which was actually outside! Roof top: Yes, but it seemed not really be used on a regular base. Summary: I wanna be honest - it is my personal opinion: People go to the Axel Hotel because it is Axel Hotel. Therefore it might be a bit expensive considering what you get. The club on the first floor could be heard in my room pretty good at night and the design is ok but I think it needs some update. Otherwise it is still an Axel Hotel. What my review is based on: Usual I travel alone and I am looking for a room which is clean and is located rather central. Also the price needs to be reasonable. My experience is that one more star might cost much more money and it is not worth the extras provided. A hotel is usually for me a place I want to have a good night sleep. Did you enjoy the video?
