Curious on how to draw chibis. Learn about chibi body types, movement, and chibi head size! Then seeing how its put together! ------ Most characters are described in head height. This means that the character's head is used to explain how tall the character is. This of course determines the characters flexibility and limitation of movement. Movement can also be affected by body type, which I show the three most common types used in chibi's. For those who are curious about the holiday 'Kodomo no hi' or 'Children's Day'. Its a Japanese holiday that usually takes place on May 5th. It originally celebrated boys but was later changed to include girls. There is even a story that involves a samurai who apparently rode a bear instead of a horse. Sweets such as mochi or rice cakes are given on this day. They are very sweet and stretchy. I love them :) The drawing at the end took about six hours from start to finish. I know I'm a slow artist.
