Then wait for them to finish the race because you can still bump them and earn money but they won't get destroyed even if you wreck them on that point. Follow and bump your target as often as you want to farm money. You must either finish the race or get wrecked to save your progress. Proceed to the next track then quit. Your money will be saved when you're back in the career menu. You can cancel the cup. 1. Drive backwards because you need to chase and wreck the 11th placer many times after they've finished racing. If you don't drive backwards, you only have 3 laps to farm. Well, you can drive backward before hitting the finish line while farming but I find it more efficient doing it while you wait for your target's final lap. 2. Count the laps. Your target is the 11th placer of the final lap because they are most likely to survive even with very low HP. You need to know if it's the target's final lap. Go to a comfortable spot to wait after driving backward. I suggest you wait at least half the track so you have more than enough time to bump your target to make their HP almost zero before they hit the finish line. 3. Bump your target until their HP is almost zero or very low. This can be a bit hard because you may get them wrecked in the process. But you'll get the hang of it. Once your target finishes the race with a very low HP, it's time to start wrecking them to farm money. The reason you need to leave them with very low HP is that they get wrecked with a simple slam or contact, which makes the farming easier.
