Hello!!! My name is Alicia and I am a type 1 diabetic. I was diagnosed in January of 2021 (age 14). November is diabetes awareness month and I made this video in hopes of spreading awareness about what living with this chronic illness actually is like. there are so many stereotypes and stigmas surrounding t1d and I hope by sharing this it can make people realise that it is nothing like what the media displays it as. I've been struggling with my health recently and trying to get my diabetes management back on track with this new routine.
