The Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Dr Reginah Mhaule together with the KZN MEC for Education, Ms Mbali Frazer and the KZNDOE'S HOD, Mr Nkosinathi Ngcobo have jointly addressed the Matric Candidates and monitored the first day of the 2022 National Senior Certificate Examinations held at Ogwini Comprehensive High School in Umlazi, P Section. A total of 180 581 candidates will be writing this morning session, full-time 174 420 and part-time 6 151. The NSC Examinations will end on 07 December 2022. The Department of Education has requested all examination centre managers to allow Matric Candidates to write their examination papers, even if they do not yet have their identity documents from the Department of Home Affairs. Matric candidates are required to submit a certified copy of their IDs within 6 months after the examinations. Venue: Ogwini Comprehensive High School in Umlazi, P Section Date: Monday, 31 October 2022.
