Walk at Culswick, Westside, Shetland

This is an unedited recording from my walk to Culswick Broch, Westside, Shetland on 13th July 2024. ABOUT WALK Walk started at Culswick methodist chapel, following crofting track until unmarked path over causeway can be made out and then up hill to broch for coffee. Return path was East along coast to headland and then across flat grassy area to crofting path. Walk took about 2.5 hours and it length was about 7 km. (A visit to Stanydale Temple was also done, which took about a half hour and was less than 2 km from gate at road.) ABOUT EQUIPMENT Walk was recorded using an action camera mounted on handle with battery and a handheld navigator, and photos taken using DSLR camera with zoom lens and mobile phone. I use a pair of boots with a hard sole and that give my ankles support, which allows me to walk on uneven surfaces.
