The newly established Building Maintenance Division of PALFINGER has successfully completed the development and installation of four large service cranes for the Royal Clock Tower in Mecca. The 601 meter high Royal Clock Tower is the central building of Abraj Al Bait Towers, a high-rise group in the center of the holy site. The cranes specially developed for this project are used for maintenance and repair work on the oversized clocks, headlights, LEDs and the building structure. Realisation in cooperation with PALFINGER partner company Sky Steel Systems (UAE). --- Die neu gegründete Building Maintenance Division von PALFINGER hat die Entwicklung und Installation von vier großen Servicekranen für den Royal Clock Tower in Mekka erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Der 601 Meter hohe Royal Clock Tower ist das zentrale Gebäude der Abraj Al Bait Towers, einer Hochhausgruppe im Zentrum der heiligen Stätte. Die speziell für dieses Projekt entwickelten Krane werden für Instandhaltungs- und Reparaturarbeiten an den überdimensionalen Uhren, Scheinwerfern, LEDs und an der Gebäudestruktur eingesetzt.
