Making a Leather Passport Holder With Striking Red Stitching

Good day friends! I hope you’re all keeping well today. In this video, we’ll go over this handmade passport sleeve with some striking red stitches. This project makes for a great gift to anyone that loves the adventures and travel. For this passport holder, I used some black chromed tanned leather with a really nice embedded texture as well as some black pigskin as lining. The red stitches were made with Fil au Chinois linen thread in Cuivre color. This thread leaves an exquisite rounded stitch all along the project and is a favorite for many leather crafters. If you’re planning on doing it yourself, you can get the template from my Etsy store. When printing the template, make sure your printer is set to 100% scale and always check the small 1 inch square before using it.
