An old video I found of my first time shaking the original mini down at the 2007 Caste Combe Mini Action Day. Its not great quality but it was back in the day where you had the 10 minute maximum limit so i had to edit the merry hell out of it. Things to look out for: The messy grass on the left just after the old paddock bend, around half way through the lap, this is where I went off the track and spiralled in the wet on the first attempt at a lap. Watch the Mirror slowly go wonky from the G-Forces and vibrations. Watch out for me slowing down for a lap or 2 after I saw the temperature gauge his 120 degrees, my eyes go WIDE open when I see it and realise that I've forgotten to turn on the electric only fan. I obviously take it easy after that for a while but throw caution to the wind for the last couple of laps. Full Engine Spec : 1293cc, Gas flowed Big Valve Head, Kent 276 cam and 1.5:1 Rockers, all running through a DCOE40 Weber Carb on a 7" long manifold, the car made 67BHP@Wheels. Standard Gearbox with a Cross Pin Diff and running a 3.7:1 final drive. With just me in the car it weighed in at 612kg with full glass, full cage, window winders, etc, the only main weight reduction was a fibreglass flip front.
