Making a brick end grain cutting board from black walnut and holly

Another brick style cutting board. Apologies it's so similar to a recent video, but I just love Walnut and wanted to try it out! This board is Walnut and Holly. Finished with mineral oil. As usual I cut out a lot of sanding steps, or this would be one boring video. In the future I don't think I'd resaw my own thin stock like I did for the holly. It was a lot of work, a lot of waste on expensive wood, and I just did not feel super safe doing it. Lesson learned, I'll just buy it pre-cut until I get a better band saw for resawing.
