(2 Mar 2026) RESTRICTION SUMMARY: ASSOCIATED PRESS Vienna - 2 March 2026 1. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Rafael Grossi arriving at press conference 2. SOUNDBITE (English) Rafael Grossi, IAEA chief: "We haven't seen major military activity targeting the nuclear facilities. We have been looking at different satellite images. There might be something there, but not significant or comparable in any way to what we saw last time. This is ....and we are getting, you know, information regularly." 3. Grossi at press conference 4. SOUNDBITE (English) Rafael Grossi, IAEA chief: “My hope, as I just said, is that we will be back at the negotiating table sooner rather than later. It is obvious that after this military conflict ends, and we all hope that this will be very, very soon, we will still need to have a long, durable solution, which will provide a sense of predictability and a sense of certainty for Iran and neighboring countries. So, I think that is very important and the agency has in my view, an indispensable role to play in that process." 5. Grossi leaving STORYLINE: The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, expressed hope Monday that a diplomatic process over Iran's nuclear program will resume when the ongoing military conflict ends. "It is obvious that after this military conflict ends, and we all hope that this will be very, very soon, we will still need to have a long, durable solution," the IAEA chief told reporters in Vienna. Iran and allied armed groups fired missiles at Israel, Arab states and U.S. military targets around the Mideast while Israel and the United States pounded Iran as the war expended to several fronts. Grossi also stressed that the U.N. nuclear watchdog has an “indispensable role” to play in such diplomatic process, after attending a special session of the IAEA Board of Governors in the Austrian capital. The IAEA chief underlined that “there is a recognition” that “there will have to be a dialogue at some point,” while noting that right now “we are in the midst of a military campaign.” =========================================================== Clients are reminded to adhere to all listed restrictions and to check the terms of their licence agreements.
