HOW TO LAUNCH A SUCCESSFUL TEASER CAMPAIGN// You've seen a lot of shiny and attractive teasers around. But wonder if you can do it for the project you work on? You may think: "oh no, I work on a small team, with a small budget. We better stay away from teasing, and just delivering our information upfront." Wrong! We, at https://www.wendyandolga.com firmly believe that any team can successfully launch a teasing campaign. You just need to know what you are doing. In this video, we walk you through the steps to create an impactful teaser campaign. TIP 1: Get excited! It may take a lot of coffee or chocolate, or something else, but do whatever it takes! How can you create interest and joy around your project if you are not excited yourself?! Try to find the big picture: how this project is helping people or fitting into the global strategy of your organization? Once you found what’s exciting, share it with the most supportive friend you have. If you don’t have a friend like that, then share it with us. We’ll always support you! TIP 2: Do it a series of 3 visuals We recommend you do your teaser campaign in 3 steps. Visual 1 is purely attention getting. That’s your only goal at this stage. Your design has to be super minimalist. 4-6 words is ideal. You may include a surprising or shocking element. No other graphic elements on that visual, unless they are greyed out or hidden. We need to maintain the mystery. Visual 2 - Partly Reveal. You may share 1 main feature of the project or event and include a link to more information. Visual 3 - Full reveal and Boost. You deliver your message here and engage with your audience by promising something more. Don’t close the door here. Include a very clear CTA in this phase. (voiceover: here is a quick summary of the steps so you can screenshot and share with your colleagues through email or social media) TIP 3: Include a cherry. Or a few of them. Find something that will make your teaser campaign memorable and unique. A cute mascot is a great way to create an emotional connection. Also, make sure your design elements are extremely consistent throughout the 3 visuals. It will make your campaign easily recognizable. Be sure to include some playful or witty element.
