A group of youngsters are playing at a beach. As they are playing and one of them fishing , they come across the lower portion of a male body. The CID team is called and they wonder where could be the other half and who is this man. There is no identification on the man but there is a strange key in his shoe which he seems to be hiding. The key leads the cops to an antique lock and that in turn takes them to the house of a rich woman Neelam whose daughter s engagement the CID team disrupts due to the case. Neelam admits the locks are her s but for the new house. When the cops go to the new house, not only the locks are missing , there is a headless upper portion of a body found , carefully packaged in jute bags. The cops are stunned and Neelam and family are totally clueless. They say that carpenters had access to the house. Further investigation leads the cops to the discovery that the torso found in Neelam s house is not of the man found at the beach but of the carpenter Daamodar who could have killed the man at the beach. Led to the workshop of Daamodar, the cops find that the original culprit is actually Neelam s to-be-son-in-law Alok. The man who was killed at the beach is actually Neelam s husband Deepak who was murdered by Alok and Daamodar as he had found proof that Alok was a fraud and would ruin their daughter s life. And Daamodar was murdered by Neelam who knew that he had killed her husband. She was hoping that all clues would lead to Alok and he would also get caught by cops but she also got caught.
