Top 10 Tim Burton Easter Eggs

Oscar Wilde once quoted "Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter". I think this can refer to cinema and most notably the films of Tim Burton. As an audience member we can get a sense of the man behind the camera. But for this particular top ten, I wanted to look at direct references to his own life. Some of these are theories but some are facts that can linked to the director himself. I’m talking about little nods that can be found in his movies that may have been inspired by certain people, or certain facts about the filmmaker. Maybe after seeing this top ten, it may make you go back to these films and think about these moments a little differently.
